Engineering firm builds on firm foundations
An engineering firm is expanding its national footprint with a wave of new contracts.
RWO, which has offices in Newcastle, Leeds, Stokesley and London, has won multiple structural and geoenvironmental engineering projects with lighting specialist CU Phosco, carrying out site investigations at locations such as Liverpool John Lennon and Manchester International airports.
The work supports upgrades to airside operations with new LED security lighting.
CU Phosco has also appointed RWO for ground investigations in Stevenage, where the local council is replacing lighting masts across the town centre.
Additional work has been secured at Teesport and with Banks Group.
The expansion marks a period of strong growth for the firm’s geoenvironmental division, which is aiming to reach £1 million in revenue by 2026.
Chris Rudd, RWO director of geoenvironmental, said: “We are seeing a rapid expansion of our operations.
“Along with other clients, CU Phosco benefits from the insight, fully integrated services and leadership the RWO group of engineering services brings.
“Looking ahead, we are seeing opportunities across the UK as the commercial and industrial sectors continue to invest in improving their infrastructure and operations.”
