The Flower Café blooms on Grainger Street
A popular North East café chain is growing its city centre presence.
The Flower Café, owned by hospitality and leisure firm Sayturk Group, has expanded its Newcastle branch into the former Nudo sushi bar site, on Grainger Street.
It was supported by Sarah Smith, partner in law firm Sintons’ licensing team, who secured the necessary licences.
The business, known for its floral interiors, gourmet sandwiches and signature cocktails, now has four venues across the region, with plans to open a fifth this summer in Sunderland.
Zafer Saygilier, chief executive of Sayturk Group, said: “Sarah is the best in the business.
“As well as this latest expansion, she’s recently arranged a pavement licence for our Whitley Bay site.
“She’s outstanding at her job and someone we rely on as our business grows.”
Sarah added: “In the last few years, Zafer and his team have grown The Flower Café from an idea to an established brand that’s recognised across the region.
“It’s always a pleasure to help North East businesses grow, and I know we’ll be seeing lots more of The Flower Café in the future.”
