Gateley Legal strengthens Guildford team
Gateley Legal has strengthened its residential development team, in Guildford, with the appointment of Tim Wheen as partner and the promotion of Sian Kersse to senior associate.
Tim joins from Foot Anstey, bringing 16 years’ experience advising housebuilders and developers on joint ventures, land matters, contracts and environmental issues.
He said: “Gateley Legal’s residential development team has an outstanding reputation within the industry acting for the UK’s biggest housebuilders and developers.
“Its seamless offering of both legal and consultancy services for clients is truly exceptional and it’s great to be joining at such an exciting time.”
Sian has a strong track record in handling large-scale acquisitions and advising promoters, housebuilders and developers throughout her career.
These moves support Gateley’s ongoing expansion of its residential development team across London and the South, focusing on land acquisition, regeneration, urban redevelopment and Build-to-Rent schemes.
The Guildford office now houses over 80 professionals.
Louise Paterson, partner and office head, added: “We are very pleased to welcome Tim to the team and congratulate Sian on her very well-deserved promotion.
“Our Guildford office is continuing to grow and we remain committed to ensuring we are both recruiting and rewarding the very best talent in the region as we continue to deliver outstanding results across some of the biggest schemes in the region for our clients.”
