Mind Your Business heads to Denmark
A Durham-based business support programme is expanding into Europe through a new partnership.
Mental health-focused Mind Your Business, a Durham University spinout, will launch its award-winning programme across Denmark through a two-year collaboration with Danish Entrepreneurs, supported by the Velliv Foundation.
Bosses say the initiative, named Healthy Capital, will reach over 2000 entrepreneurs with workshops, bootcamps and specialist mentor training.
Professor Pablo Muñoz, co-founder of Mind Your Business and co-director of the Durham Enterprise Centre and Professor of Entrepreneurship, said: “This partnership marks a major step forward in rethinking how we support entrepreneurs.
“By acknowledging that business development and mental health are deeply intertwined, Healthy Capital aims to build a new standard for entrepreneurial support that prioritises both personal and business development.”
Rooted in university research, the programme helps self-employed individuals manage the psychological pressures of entrepreneurship by aligning business development with personal wellbeing.
Fourteen Danish mentors will complete a certification course before supporting entrepreneurs nationwide.
Peter Kofler, chair of Danish Entrepreneurs, added: “We are excited to bring Mind Your Business to Denmark.
“Entrepreneurs face tremendous stress and pressure, and this programme brings much-needed, research-based tools to help them thrive – not just commercially, but personally.”
Mind Your Business has already won recognition in the US and is a finalist in the 2025 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards, with the winners set to be announced in November.
