Legal PR specialist lands major accolade
A South Yorkshire-based PR and marketing agency has received national recognition for its specialist work in legal and healthcare communications.
Scala, a boutique consultancy based in Sheffield, has been named in the 2025 Chambers and Partners Litigation Support Guide, ranking among just 18 firms in the UK for litigation PR and communications.
It is the only South Yorkshire agency to be included and the only one in its category focused on personal injury and medical negligence litigation.
The firm’s work includes high-profile cases such as the Lucy Letby trial and the Nottingham Maternity Scandal.
Natalie Rodgers, founder and managing director of Scala, said: “To be recognised by Chambers and Partners is a true honour for anyone connected with the legal sector.
“This achievement reflects not only the high standards we set for ourselves, but also the trust our clients place in us during some of their most sensitive and challenging times.
“As a small consultancy, this recognition means a great deal to us and being the only business in the rankings to have formed in the North of England makes it even more special.
“This marks a major milestone for Scala, now in its 16th year, with the esteemed ranking serving as formal recognition for the exceptional PR work we have carried out for law firms across the country.”
Scala’s recognition in the guide follows a string of accolades, including wins at the Personal Injury Awards and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ Mark of Excellence Awards.
The agency was also shortlisted in the 2024 Legal 500 Legal Business Awards.
