Robinson Ralph marks anniversary with four hires

Employment law firm Robinson Ralph is celebrating seven years in business with four new hires and a 57 per cent year-on-year increase in turnover.

The Leeds firm, headquartered on Wellington Street, has grown to a team of eight, including three new lawyers, in response to increased demand and continued business growth. 

Founded as a family-run SME, Robinson Ralph advises clients across the full range of employment law matters, helping minimise the risk of tribunal claims.

Its growing client base includes a global building materials manufacturer, an international dairy supplier and a UK hotel and leisure group. 

Co-founder Juliet Ralph said: “We’ve had quite a year of growth – this time last year we had just two solicitors (including my co-founder Simon), a paralegal and me. 

“One year on and we’re up to five solicitors, a paralegal, a practice support manager and me, still holding the fort!

“We have had a 57 per cent increase over our previous financial year and more than 100 per cent increase compared to the year before that.

“Also, while Simon Robinson and David Sillitoe have been ranked individually in Chambers and Partners for a couple of years, the firm was ranked for the first time this year.

“We also received funding from Digital Enterprise to assist with a bold rebrand, including a complete revamp of the website, so it’s been quite the year!”

Juliet added: “I think it’s a testament to our approach in that we are professional but not overly corporate. 

“Our employment law clients find us refreshing as we focus on breaking the mould through exceptional service and by delivering the right results.

“Our focus will continue to be on supporting our growing team, staying true to our values and making a real difference for our clients.”
