Reflo in top gear with Williams Formula One deal
A sportswear firm is racing ahead with a Formula One deal.
Reflo has secured an agreement to act as an official licensee and supplier to Atlassian Williams Racing.
Doncaster-headquartered Reflo will also kit out the team’s mechanics, engineers and support staff across the current season.
Bosses say the partnership will include ranges made from recycled materials using Reflo’s Reloop-branded technology that reuses end-of-life garments.
Peter Philippou, Reflo co-founder and chief executive, said: “This is a pivotal moment for us.
“Joining forces with Atlassian Williams Racing allows us to showcase how sustainable design and performance can work together seamlessly.
“Aligning with such an iconic brand in Formula One is a huge milestone.”
Luke Timmins, Atlassian Williams Racing’s merchandise and licensing director, added: “This collaboration is about bringing together innovation, performance and responsible design.
“Teaming up with Reflo allows us to deliver high-quality, stylish teamwear that meets the demands of elite motorsport while incorporating more sustainable practices.”
The partnership builds on a number of sporting deals for Reflo, which include kit supplies to football clubs Luton Town and Forest Green Rovers.
