Office switch will put law firm 'in Peak condition'
A law firm has unveiled a “milestone” office expansion.
Taylor Emmet is moving to the Peak District’s Riverside Works.
Bosses say the base, on the outskirts of Bakewell, will enable it to “better serve and reflect its growing client base”.
They add the hub – which will open later this summer – will replace an existing Bakewell town centre office and “complement” sister sites in Sheffield and Dronfield, Derbyshire.
Headed by partner Martin Sissons, Taylor Emmet’s Peak District office provides services across areas including agricultural law, rural conveyancing, wills, probate, tax planning and trust management.
He said: “We are excited to move to a more efficient workspace that accommodates our collaborative approach to legal practice.”
Steve Hinshelwood, Taylor Emmet chief executive, added: “This represents an exciting new chapter.
“It allows us to strengthen our position as the leading law firm across the entire Peak District region, and being situated in the largest development of its kind in the Peak Park enhances our visibility and accessibility to clients.”
Existing Riverside Works tenants include Thornbridge Brewery and Chatsworth.
