Triodos Bank strengthens wellbeing team
Triodos Bank UK, a leader in sustainable banking, has appointed Mark Lawson as senior relationship manager within its wellbeing business banking team, covering the Midlands and North West.
Mark brings nearly 30 years’ banking and corporate finance experience, including roles at NatWest and Santander Corporate & Commercial Banking, with 15 years focused on the healthcare sector.
He will support care, education, and childcare businesses to deliver positive social and environmental impact across the UK.
Outside work, Mark was a semi-professional footballer and is a keen cricket fan.
He said: “Triodos’ ethical mission to change banking and the planet motivated me to join the team.
“With a shared commitment and clear growth plans to support the changing needs of the healthcare, education, childcare, arts and culture and recreational sectors within our wellbeing theme, I’m looking forward to building on the positive social impact of the team and our customers.”
Mark’s appointment reinforces Triodos’ commitment to helping specialised care businesses expand, with the wellbeing team already overseeing transactions for care homes and supported living facilities across the country.
Phillip Bate, director of business banking at Triodos Bank UK, added: “We’re delighted to have Mark join the Triodos team.
“His previous experience will allow us to build our lending within the healthcare sector, build our network in the Midlands and North West, and widen the positive social and environmental impact we work towards at Triodos.”
