Ramsdens invests in next generation of lawyers
Yorkshire law firm Ramsdens Solicitors is celebrating the qualification of four trainees who have now taken up permanent positions within the firm, reinforcing its commitment to future legal talent.
Katie Bonnard and Niamh Docherty have joined the family department, while Alex Tattersall and Courtney Moore have taken up roles in dispute resolution.
Niamh said: “Although I am still early on in my career, the knowledge and experience I have gained so far at Ramsdens has been invaluable.
“I’m really looking forward to joining the family Law team as a full-time solicitor and to continue learning from the very best in Yorkshire as I develop both personally and professionally.”
Alongside the new solicitors, nine more trainees, pictured below, have started their contracts this September, with some following the traditional two-year route and others on the graduate apprenticeship pathway, which combines on-the-job experience with study over 30 months.
Ramsdens says both routes provide practical training and development as the firm continues to support the next generation of legal professionals across the region.
Natalie Lang, partner and training principal at Ramsdens Solicitors, added: “At Ramsdens, we truly believe our team to be our greatest asset and every year we look forward to welcoming a bright new group of talent to Ramsdens.
“We know how important investing in our team is and we’re always looking to recruit new talent that we can nurture and develop.
“Our training programmes are key to our commitment to bringing the very best legal advice and support that we can across all our locations in Yorkshire, and we are committed to helping trainees turn their passion into long-lasting careers.”
Lindsey Frith, Joint chief executive at Ramsdens, added” “We are incredibly proud of our trainee programme and feel that each of these newly qualified solicitors will bring a positive and valuable contribution to the firm.
“So many of our partners started their legal careers here at Ramsdens so I look forward to seeing where these talented young solicitors progress to.”
