Lake Legal promotes partner as firm grows
Leeds family law specialists Lake Legal have promoted Hollie Burnett to partner, following a record year of growth.
The promotion comes alongside a five per cent rise in turnover and the launch of a new mediation service led by Sam Haslam.
Hollie joined Lake Legal in 2017, becoming an associate in 2021.
She has handled complex financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, domestic violence cases, nuptial agreements and child-related matters.
Hollie said: “It’s hugely rewarding to see my hard work over the years recognised with a promotion to partner at Lake Legal.
“It has been a privilege to grow my career within such a supportive and forward-thinking firm, and I am very proud to be part of such an outstanding team.
“I look forward to continuing to play a key role within a firm which provides outstanding legal advice and service to all our clients, strengthened further by our new mediation offering.”
Lake Legal is consistently ranked in the top tier by Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500, and is recognised as one of the region’s leading boutique family law firms.
Managing partner Claire Glaister added: “After achieving our highest ever annual turnover, it is exciting to see how else we can progress as a firm.
“By strengthening the team at a management level and adding a new string to our bow in the form of mediation, we are undoubtedly going from strength to strength.
“Hollie is a huge asset to the business, and her promotion reflects both her ability and her commitment to clients.”
