WJM invests in talent with latest cohort
Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie LLP (WJM) has strengthened its teams in Glasgow and Edinburgh with the addition of five newly qualified solicitors and its largest ever cohort of trainees.
The appointments follow strategic investment from Irwin Mitchell and the firm’s merger with Davidson Chalmers Stewart.
Among the firm’s newest five solicitors are Mairi Adams, who joins the private client team in Edinburgh; Robyn Black, who takes up a role in conflict resolution in Glasgow; and Pip de Klerk, who will be part of the planning team in Edinburgh.
They are joined by Rachel Pirie, who has become a solicitor in the dispute resolution team in Glasgow, as well as Holly Robertson, who has taken up a post in corporate, in Edinburgh.
Each has secured a permanent role after completing their training contracts.
WJM has also welcomed 11 first-year trainees, who will rotate across areas including private client, corporate, family law, commercial property, renewables, dispute resolution and residential conveyancing.
Seven second-year trainees have progressed to further develop their skills across specialist teams, reflecting the firm’s ongoing commitment to investing in talent.
