Law firm Lodders scores Coventry Rugby alliance
A law firm has landed a sporting alliance.
Lodders has become Coventry Rugby’s commercial legal partner.
Bosses say the firm will support on and off-field expansion plans, which include the redevelopment of the club’s Butts Park Arena to add residential and leisure facilities.
They add it will also sponsor players’ kits and matchday hoardings during the coming season.
Paul Mourton, managing partner at Lodders – which has offices in Stratford, Henley-in-Arden, Birmingham and Cheltenham – said: “The club has a vision and displays drive and ambition.
“It cares about its community, and its values and principles really align with ours.
“As well as directly supporting the club, we’re looking to be real ambassadors, by opening more doors to people who could benefit the club.”
Nick Johnston, Coventry Rugby chief executive, added: “This is a pivotal moment for the club, the city and our supporters.
“Lodders gives us the expertise and backing to push ahead with our new investment opportunities and ambitious development plans.
“They share our vision for growth, and their support will help us deliver facilities and opportunities that will benefit the club, the community and the city of Coventry for generations to come.”
