Law firm supports ITV daytime studio switch
A law firm has helped a broadcaster complete a production base move.
Womble Bond Dickinson advised ITV Studios on a switch to The H Club Studio, in Covent Garden.
Bosses say the shift will see daytime programmes Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women beamed to the nation from the London hub.
Set to go live from January 2026, they add The H Club Studio – which will feature a 360-degree set with advanced LED walls and a remote gallery – will produce and broadcast close to 900 hours of live content every year.
A multidisciplinary Womble Bond Dickinson team – featuring staff from its Newcastle and Leeds offices – supported ITV Studios.
Led by partner and head of retail and hospitality Claire Wilkinson, the team – which also featured Catherine Hall, Joseph Dakkak and Sophia Di Xiao – provided real estate advice around areas including planning, construction, ancillary licences and tax matters.
The work built on previous partnerships with ITV, with Womble Bond Dickinson having supported projects including the production base for reality show 'I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!'
Claire said: “We are delighted to have supported ITV Studios in such a significant move.
“The H Club Studios represent a significant step forward in broadcast innovation and sustainability, and we are proud to continue our longstanding partnership with ITV on such landmark projects.”
