Law firm enjoys record-breaking growth
A Sheffield-based private client law firm is marking an anniversary with rapid growth.
Pavilion Row, a boutique practice specialising in wills, trusts and probate, has seen an 85 per cent rise in turnover since relocating to Sheffield four years ago.
The growth reflects rising demand for expert legal advice, driven by frozen inheritance tax thresholds and the increasing complexity of estate planning.
Angus Houston, founding director of Pavilion Row, which over the past five years has doubled its headcount, said: “We’ve experienced exceptional growth recently, making our anniversary year feels like the start of an exciting new chapter.
“Our strong reputation within the financial advice community has expanded our client base and enabled us to go from strength to strength.
“Today, individuals face increasing complexity in financial and estate planning, which may be further compounded by announcements in the upcoming Autumn Budget, and the inevitable changes that will follow.
“More than ever, people are seeking clear, specialist advice to simplify what can be a daunting process.”
The firm, which this year is celebrating its 15th anniversary, has become a preferred partner for leading UK wealth management companies, with hundreds of financial advisers referring clients to Pavilion Row.
Pavilion Row is also a platinum-accredited STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) Employer Partner, recognising its investment in staff development and contribution to the sector.
Angus added: “Celebrating our 15th anniversary at a time when we have built such a strong team makes it more special.
“One of the key reasons for our relocation from York to Sheffield was to capitalise on the talent the region offers.
“We’re now positioned close to many law firms that offer specialisms, giving us access to a pool of ambitious legal practitioners.”
Pavilion Row has also been shortlisted in two categories at the British Wills & Probate Awards later this year.
