Serious Injury Law appoints team leader
North West-based Serious Injury Law, one of the UK’s leading firms for catastrophic and serious injury cases, has appointed Ross Smith as team leader of its international injury division.
Ross joins from Howe & Co Solicitors, where he served as head of travel and joint head of post office compensation.
He brings extensive experience in cross-border personal injury litigation, including high-value claims and direct actions in the UK against foreign insurers.
Since 2012, Ross has secured significant settlements for clients involved in international road traffic collisions, holiday accidents and workplace injuries abroad.
In his new role, he will lead a team of solicitors and case managers, overseeing complex cross-jurisdictional claims and developing collaborations with international legal networks.
Ross said: “I’m delighted to join such a highly respected firm.
“Serious Injury Law has built a formidable reputation for taking on some of the most challenging and complex cases, both in the UK and across borders.
“I am proud to play my part in delivering justice for clients and helping them rebuild their lives, wherever in the world they are injured.”
Established in 1989 and part of the Fletchers Group, Serious Injury Law has built a reputation for multi-million-pound settlements and comprehensive support for clients and their families.
Caroline Morris, managing director at Serious Injury Law, added: “Ross has consistently demonstrated outstanding dedication, technical excellence and compassion in handling serious injury claims through his vast and varied experience.
“His leadership will be crucial in guiding our international injury division through its next phase of growth.”
