Female entrepreneurship documentary Actually, I Can! premieres in London to a star-studded crowd.
Over one hundred influential business people flocked to Leicester square on Thursday evening to be the first viewers of a new business and mindset documentary: ‘Actually, I can!’ which held its private premiere, in collaboration with sponsors Kayleigh Atherton, Jodie Hayward, Samantha Hyam and Social Climbers.Told through the raw and powerful story of Kayleigh Greenacre, a single mother, former Assistant Headteacher, and now a voice for women everywhere, guests at the screening watched the powerful story of transformation and learnt how the key message’ Actually, I Can, applies to their lives.
The red carpet event saw a host of stars in attendance such as TV star Sinitta, winners of Channel 4’s Double Your Money Natalie O'Brien and Jack Visick, Sunday Times bestselling author Lisa Johnson and a host of journalists, podcast hosts and influential business owners.
Centered around the raw and powerful story of how Kayleigh rebuilt her life from rock bottom during the COVID-19 pandemic, guests commented on how the film was both emotional and uplifting.
The inspiring documentary intended to speak to the heart of every woman who’s ever doubted her worth, dimmed her light, or felt the pressure to be someone she’s not and this feeling was certainly felt by guests who watched the premiere. Kayleigh, who is the host of the popular and forever-growing business podcast Actually I Can hosted the private screening, which was followed by a Q and A with Kayleigh with Sunday Times bestselling author Lisa Johnson.
“The premiere was a childhood dream come true-I looked around and saw not just my story but the conversations happening in the room. It's a documentary that has been years in the making-I hope it can be a voice for women everywhere and a call to rise - aiming to show my audiences what happens when a woman stops doing what is expected and starts believing in herself. It’s a story for all women. Of the masks we wear, dreams we silence and the incredible things that happen when we finally choose ourselves,” adds Kayleigh Greenace, founder of the documentary.
Actually, I Can! Premiered on the 2nd of October and will be publicly released on the 16th of October on youtube. For more information, visit: https://www.actuallyican.co.uk
