Lawfront appoints new chief finance officer
Wilmslow-headquartered Lawfront has appointed Christian Burgess as its new chief finance officer.
Christian brings more than 25 years of experience across private equity-owned and listed companies, joining from Ascot Lloyd, where he served as chief financial operations officer.
He previously held the chief finance officer role at Cabot Credit Management, part of NASDAQ-listed Encore Capital, and spent over a decade at Deutsche Bank as a managing director in finance, operations and strategy.
At Lawfront, Chritian will work with the executive team, private equity investor Blixt and partner firms to drive the group’s growth, supporting M&A strategies and expansion across the UK.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining Lawfront at such an exciting point in its journey.
“The business has already built an impressive platform, and I look forward to working with the team and our partner firms to deliver continued growth across the UK.”
Lawfront’s current chief finance officer Nigel Osborne will retire at the end of October.
Neil Lloyd, chief executive at Lawfront, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Christian to the Lawfront leadership team.
“His skillset and experience are a perfect fit for the next stage of Lawfront’s growth.
“We’d also like to thank Nigel for his enormous contribution to the success of Lawfront over its first four years.”
