Another Avenue to roll out skills bootcamps
A Manchester-based digital training provider is set to expand its free skills bootcamps across the UK after securing a funding boost from the Department for Education.
Another Avenue, part of the Fearless Adventures group founded by Dominic McGregor, David Newns and Charlie Yates, has been awarded over £877,000 to grow its award-winning programmes that help freelancers, founders and career changers build new skills and confidence.
The funding supports the rollout of new fully funded cohorts across London, South Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire and Warrington, expanding the reach of its Digital Marketing and Fearless Accelerator programmes.
A new Content Creator Skills Bootcamp is also set to launch in early 2026.
Another Avenue’s Digital Marketing Bootcamp focuses on SEO, paid media and social strategy, combining hands-on learning with guaranteed interviews for every graduate.
The Fearless Accelerator helps founders and freelancers scale their businesses through expert-led sessions, one-to-one mentoring and peer learning.
Dominic said: “We launched Another Avenue to make a real impact – helping people start businesses, change careers and build lasting success.
“This latest round of funding is not only a huge vote of confidence in what we’re building, but also a powerful opportunity to reach even more people and create meaningful change in their lives and businesses.”
Since its launch in 2022, Another Avenue has supported more than 800 learners through industry-led courses and is on track to reach 1000 by the end of 2025.
The new funding represents another milestone in its mission to bridge the UK’s digital and entrepreneurial skills gap through real-world training and mentorship.
Upcoming bootcamps begin in November and January across the regions, offering fully funded places for participants looking to enhance their digital skills or take their business ambitions to the next level.
Lisa Claydon, operations director at Another Avenue, added: “There’s a growing digital and business skills gap across the UK, and our mission is to close it by making high-quality, industry-led training accessible to everyone.
“Every learner we support brings us one step closer to that goal – and we’re proud to continue empowering the next generation of ambitious founders, freelancers and professionals.”
