Law firm 'set for further growth' after record results
A law firm says it is primed for a “year of significant investment and further growth” after delivering a record financial performance.
Muckle LLP has chalked up a fourth consecutive year of growth.
The firm saw turnover rise 12 per cent to more than £19 million, with profit standing in excess of £5 million.
Bosses at the Newcastle, Stockton and Penrith-based legal operator say the increases were fuelled by demand across its agriculture, rural estates and private client team and its construction team.
They add the 200-plus-staff firm was also boosted by its national debt recovery practice and services across the public sector and the sports, education and charities spheres.
Anthony Evans, managing partner, said: “We are delighted with how we’ve done over the last year.
“We have a fantastic and engaged team, in addition to having great clients.
“Our financial performance also reflects our great culture, the investments we have made and our long-term strategy.
“By having a well-communicated vision and five-year plan, we have been able to set clear goals that our team has done a fantastic job in achieving.
“By ensuring we grow sustainably and keeping to our culture and values, we will be successful for our clients, team and our communities.
“It’s an exciting time for the firm, as we are now in the last year of our current five-year plan, and just about to launch our plan for the next five years.”
