Snow much to celebrate for new partnership
A London-based media company is strengthening its ties to British sport with a new partnership that will bring world-class winter competition to screens nationwide.
Ocean Outdoor has been named the official outdoor media partner for GB Snowsport in a 12-month deal that will showcase elite ski and snowboarding highlights across its UK network.
The collaboration comes as the countdown begins to the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Milano-Cortina, with the World Cup season already underway.
Phil Hall, chief executive of Ocean Outdoor UK, said: “Britain’s ski and snowboard champions include some of the most decorated athletes in the country's winter sports history.
“This new partnership is another opportunity for us to tell remarkable stories, celebrate achievement and inspire Out of Home audiences and the next generation through the prism of sport.”
The announcement follows a period of exceptional success for GB Snowsport, whose athletes have secured 149 medals across multiple disciplines in recent years.
Ocean’s partnership builds on its growing sporting portfolio, which already includes Team GB, ParalympicsGB, Special Olympics GB, Access Sport and UK Deaf Sport, which competes in the Deaflympics 2025 in Tokyo this November.
Vicky Gosling, chief executive of GB Snowsport, added: “Our skiers and snowboarders are writing an incredible story in the history of British snowsport, and we are delighted to partner with Ocean Outdoor to help bring those stories to the wider public.
“This is an incredibly exciting season for everyone involved with GB Snowsport, with an Olympic and Paralympic Games on the horizon, and we’re hugely looking forward to working with the team at Ocean Outdoor throughout what promises to be a momentous year.”
