Bolsover site serves up 20-year deals
A Derbyshire-based retail site has secured long-term tenants.
Limes Developments has finalised 20-year lettings with Starbucks and Burger King on its two-acre site in Bolsover, following advice from law firm Gordons.
The agreements allow both brands to operate seated and drive-through facilities, serving passing motorists and the local community.
Located half a mile from junction 28 of the M1 and just off the A38, the site sits adjacent to Panattoni Park J28 Central M1, a 350,000sq ft Grade A warehouse occupied by eCommerce fulfilment firm Super Smart Service.
Leeds-headquartered Gordons, which also works with retailers including AO, Iceland and Wren Kitchens, advised Limes Developments on the lettings, having previously acted on the site acquisition and its development.
Sarah Ratcliffe, commercial property partner at Gordons, said: “We are proud to be long term trusted advisers to Limes Developments and to play our part in the business’ continued success.
“With these lettings secured, we now look forward to advising our client on their plans for phase two of the development which, subject to planning, would provide a further 430,000sq ft of warehouse space.”
Marcus Jolly, managing director at Limes Developments, added: “We are very pleased to have secured these two long-term lettings with Starbucks and Burger King.
“We have benefitted from Gordons’ practical commercial advice for many years, and Sarah and her team demonstrated that again with these deals.”
