Serious Injury Law promotes duo to director
Fletchers Group has promoted Michelle Heyes and Gillian Lakes to directors within its serious injury division, Serous Injury Law.
Michelle, who joined Fletchers in 1992, has led the serious injury team since 2022, guiding complex, high-value personal injury cases.
Gillian brings more than 25 years’ experience and has progressed through the ranks since joining the division in 2018, recently achieving partner status.
In their new roles, both will take on greater strategic responsibility for the growth and development of the serious injury division, overseeing team performance, supporting legal excellence and shaping the long-term vision for serious injury services.
Caroline Morris, managing director of Serious Injury Law, said: “Michelle and Gillian are outstanding examples of the leadership, expertise and values that underpin our work.
“Their promotions are richly deserved and demonstrate our commitment to investing in our people and the future of our business.
“As we continue to grow, we’re proud to see more of our next generation of leaders coming through the North West.”
With offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Southport and Bolton, Fletchers continues to provide specialist legal expertise for clients across the North West and nationally.
