Muckle LLP welcomes newly qualified solicitor
Newcastle-based law firm Muckle LLP has welcomed Jordon Goodman to its award-winning corporate team following his qualification as a solicitor.
Jordon joined Muckle in 2023 as part of the firm’s graduate training programme and now takes up a permanent role in its corporate department, which was recently named Corporate Law Firm of the Year at the Insider Dealmakers Awards 2025.
Having previously worked in digital marketing, Jordon retrained in law, studying at the University of Law where he developed a passion for corporate practice.
He is also an active member of Muckle’s diversity and inclusion committee, contributing to the firm’s work as a certified B Corp in fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace.
He said: “From day one of my training contract, I always knew I wanted to qualify into corporate law.
“I’ve really enjoyed getting to know a wide range of businesses and developing my commercial awareness across companies in the North East and beyond.
“The standout thing about Muckle is the culture – it really enhances the quality of training and support you receive.
“There’s a strong sense of community in the office, and with hot desking, you naturally get to know people across different teams.
“It’s a genuinely nice place to be and people welcome you with open arms.
“Being on the diversity and inclusion committee has also given me the opportunity to get involved beyond the day job and play a role in shaping a more inclusive future at the firm.”
Philip Clare, partner and head of the corporate team, added: “We’re incredibly proud to see Jordon qualify into the corporate team; he’s a great example of the talented individuals coming through our training programme.
“We’ve always been committed to investing in the next generation of lawyers, ensuring they gain the right experience, support and opportunities to thrive.”
