Muckle LLP appoints six aspiring lawyers
North East law firm Muckle LLP has expanded its pipeline of future talent with the appointment of five trainee solicitors and one solicitor apprentice, bringing its cohort of aspiring lawyers to 19.
Trainees Abi Chorlton Wilson, Hannah Hunt, Jason Sinclair, Rebecca Watson and Thalia Agoglossakis Foley have begun their two-year training contracts, gaining experience across four practice areas.
Solicitor apprentice Ella Chandler has also joined the firm, embarking on a six-year programme combining part-time study with practical, on-the-job training.
The new trainees come from a range of academic backgrounds, with three having studied in the North East and others returning to the region after completing degrees at universities in Leeds and Edinburgh.
Ella joins following A-Levels at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College and work experience with Muckle through the North East Solicitor Apprenticeship scheme.
Each new starter now begins their first seat within the firm: Abi and Jason join the corporate team, Rebecca starts in real estate, Hannah joins construction and Thalia begins her training in the sports, education and charities team.
Ella has also joined the corporate team as she begins her apprenticeship.
Their appointments highlight Muckle LLP’s long-standing investment in developing the next generation of legal advisers and its commitment to a supportive, people-first culture.
Anthony Evans, managing partner at Muckle, said: “I’m delighted to welcome our newest trainees and apprentice to Muckle; they are a fantastic group.
“Training and developing the next generation of lawyers and offering opportunities for everyone in the business to develop their careers is something we are passionate about; it is key to our future success.
“I am excited to see how Abi, Ella, Hannah, Jason, Rebecca and Thalia progress their careers.”
