T12 sharpens strategy in Brazil

An engineering firm is accelerating its international growth.

T12 Engineering has advanced its expansion plans in Brazil after its directors travelled to Rio de Janeiro for their first in-person meeting with senior leaders at Priner Serviços Industriais S.A., the company’s newly formed strategic partner in the country.

The visit builds on the partnership announced in October, which combines T12’s global engineering and subsea expertise with Priner’s extensive Brazilian operations.

Together, the firms will offer an integrated suite of services covering the full energy asset lifecycle, from early-stage studies and design through to operations, maintenance, commissioning and decommissioning.

During the trip, T12 directors Graham Melroy and Andrew Hughes met Priner’s leadership to shape priority projects and align their combined offering for Brazil’s rapidly expanding offshore and onshore energy markets.

The T12 team, which operates from Teesside, Glasgow and Edinburgh, also attended OTC Brasil, one of the world’s leading offshore events, to meet clients and explore new commercial opportunities.

Graham said: “Meeting the Priner team for the first time in person was invaluable and allows us to map out a clear strategy for how we can jointly support clients across Brazil’s offshore and onshore sectors.

“There’s a genuine desire on both sides to bring new ideas, practical innovation and long-term value to the market.

“We’re genuinely excited about what lies ahead.

“This is an important foundation for our long-term presence in Brazil, and the opportunities for international growth are significant.”

With Brazil poised for significant investment in deep-water developments, enhanced recovery programmes and long-term asset integrity, T12’s strengthened collaboration with Priner positions the firm for further growth in one of the world’s most dynamic energy regions.

Andrew added: “Brazil is a developing market with enormous potential.

“What makes this partnership so strong is the blend of Priner’s in-country strength and T12’s specialist engineering expertise.

“With Priner supporting the commercial and legal frameworks locally, we can concentrate on delivering the technical solutions that clients require.”
