Safety firm 'on solid ground for growth'
An environmental and health and safety training firm says it is fit for growth after a financial boost.
Carney Consultancy has seen turnover rise 25 per cent.
And bosses say the uptick leaves the company primed to chalk up 40 per cent growth over the next three years and expand further into the North West and Yorkshire.
Founded in 2002, the North Shields-based business provides support to builders, sub-contractors and management companies in the construction and engineering sectors, and earlier this year broke through the 200-client barrier.
It recently secured work with Milburn Construction, based in Cramlington, Northumberland, and Blaydon’s Unique Joinery Solutions, and supported Preston-based family-owned civil engineer William Pye, whose clients include Fleetwood Town Football Club.
Angela Carney, managing director, said: “We have worked hard to implement a five-year strategy, which has enabled us to identify how we want to grow the business and where to spot areas of growth.
“We have made several significant hires across the year and invested heavily in developing further training courses, to the benefit of our clients.
“As they grow, we are able to grow with them and be their go-to company for health and safety advice.
“We are also working to assist businesses navigate increasingly stringent compliance demands around the Building Safety Act.”
