Cleaning firm eyeing success after buyout
An industrial cleaning firm is primed for a “defining moment” after undergoing a management buyout, its new bosses have said.
LRES-UK has been taken over by Tom Rowland, Lynsey Waller and Patsy Wilson.
The trio say the deal positions the Sheffield-based company for “continued innovation, agility and customer-focused service delivery”.
Founded in 2012, the firm’s portfolio also includes IRATA rope access grit blasting and confined space entry and rescue support.
Under the terms of the buyout, ownership has transferred from co-founders Lee and David Reynolds to managing director Tom; sales director Lynsey; and financial director Patsy.
Partner Paul Trudgill and senior associate Peter Turk, of Sheffield-based law firm Knights, advised on the deal.
Tom said: “This represents far more than a change in ownership; it is a bold vote of confidence in our people, our clients and the future we are building together.
“LRES-UK has grown into one of the UK’s leading specialists in industrial cleaning, rope access and confined space safety.
“That success has always been underpinned by a culture of hard work, innovation and doing things the right way – values instilled by our founders Lee and Dave Reynolds, to whom we owe a great deal.
“As the new leadership team, we are honoured to take the business forward.
“This buyout gives us the opportunity to fully invest – financially, emotionally and strategically – in a company we care deeply about.”
Paul added: “It’s been really rewarding to assist Tom, Lynsey and Patsy to realise their ambition of assuming ownership of LRES-UK.
“I have no doubt they will take the business from strength to strength.”
