mfg Solicitors bolsters corporate team with new partner
mfg Solicitors has expanded its corporate offering with the appointment of Matt Smith as a partner in its Birmingham office.
Working alongside partner and head of department Clare Lang, Matt will advise businesses, owner-managers and investors on transactions, acquisitions, disposals, restructures and joint ventures.
His appointment follows continued growth within the corporate team, including the recent arrival of fellow partner Philip Chapman in the firm’s Colmore Business District office.
Matt said: “I’ve joined mfg Solicitors as it’s an ambitious, growing firm with a clear vision for the future.
“Over several years you can’t fail to notice the strong reputation the firm has built, coupled with its roster of excellent clients and its commitment to supporting colleagues.
“That made it the perfect place to take the next step in my career.
“I’m excited to contribute to the firm’s continued growth and to help drive forward the opportunities ahead.”
Clare Lang, partner at mfg Solicitors, added: “Matt has successfully represented a variety of national and international businesses over the last 15 years.
“He has exceptional credentials, so we’re delighted he has joined us to further boost not just the corporate team, but the firm as a whole.
“He will be a tremendous asset for us and our clients in the months and years ahead.”
