Brodies adds partner and opens Leeds office
Brodies LLP has appointed Bill Barton as a partner and confirmed the opening of a new Leeds office as the firm continues to invest in the growth of its construction practice.
Bill brings more than 30 years’ experience in contentious and non-contentious construction law, advising clients across sectors including industrial, education and renewable energy.
His work covers contracts, adjudication, arbitration and litigation, and he is also a qualified mediator and Fellow of the Institute of Arbitrators.
Bill said: “Brodies is a firm that I admire for its client-first approach, its sector expertise and its commitment to technical excellence.
“In joining the construction practice I look forward to working alongside the firm’s wider team to bring the highest quality legal services to our clients across the UK.”
Bill joins Brodies alongside a team of eight construction lawyers, who will be based in the new Leeds office, strengthening the firm’s presence in England alongside its existing offices in London and across Scotland.
