Yarm law firm strengthens conveyancing team
Merritts Solicitors LLP, the independent law firm based on Yarm High Street, has expanded its conveyancing team with four new appointments as it responds to rising client demand.
The firm has welcomed Samantha Weston as a conveyancing executive, bringing more than 20 years’ experience across residential and commercial work, alongside Helen Spencer, a solicitor with a strong background in residential conveyancing.
Freya Savory and Emma Payne have also joined the firm in support roles within the new business team.
Further recruitment is planned in the new year, with additional hires set for the private client department and the appointment of a new trainee solicitor.
Established for almost 60 years, Merritts Solicitors continues to play an active role in the local community, supporting Yarm High Street businesses and local initiatives alongside its growing legal practice.
Managing partner Matthew Moran said: “We are continuously looking to expand to support the needs of our clients and the rising demand in conveyancing in particular, so I am thrilled to welcome four new faces to the team as part of this commitment.
“We are still a traditional High Street firm, focusing on meeting the needs of local residents who can come in and speak to local people who are friendly and approachable.
“It’s crucial to us to have the right people in place to deliver this.”
