Cyber specialist expands legal partnerships

A North East technology provider is strengthening its presence in the legal sector.

Net-Defence has announced two new strategic collaborations with Cooklaw Solicitors and McKeag & Co, expanding its work with law firms across the region to deliver tailored cyber security and compliance support.

The IT, telephony and cyber resilience specialist has built a growing reputation within the legal sector, supporting practices as they respond to rising cyber threats and increasingly complex regulatory requirements. 

Net-Defence’s latest partnerships are designed to help firms strengthen operational resilience while safeguarding highly sensitive client data.

Gosforth-headquartered McKeag & Co, a Legal 500-recognised firm with more than a century of history, combines traditional legal services with modern working practices and a strong focus on cyber awareness across its team of more than 40 staff.

Sunderland-based Cooklaw Solicitors, which specialises in areas including clinical negligence, personal injury, property and probate, handles some of the most confidential and high-value information in the legal profession, making robust cyber protection critical to its day-to-day operations.
