Growth child's play for nursery with double deal

A childcare provider has expanded with a double swoop.

Partou has bought Little Faces Nursery and Little Faces @ Manchester Airport.

Bosses say the moves for the North West bases “further enhance Partou’s position as one of the UK’s largest childcare providers”.

The deals come as Little Faces Nursery owner Stephen Calvert retires.

Rated outstanding by Ofsted, Little Faces Nursery provides support for families in Hazel Grove and nearby Stockport, Poynton and Bramhall, with sister setting Little Faces @ Manchester Airport – which carries a good Ofsted rating – working across Hale Barns, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Wythenshawe, Heald Green and Hale.

Operating more than 100 UK bases, Partou cares for around 9000 children and employs more than 2000 staff.

Samantha Rhodes, managing director at Manchester-based Partou, said: “We are excited to have two such highly regarded nurseries join our community.”

Stephen Calvert, Little Faces’ outgoing owner, added: “We’ve spent the past 15 years building high-quality childcare provision that supports children's development in safe, nurturing and stimulating environments.

“Now I'm retiring, I leave the business in a safe pair of hands.

“Little Faces becoming part of Partou is great news for our dedicated colleagues, children and their families.

“I’m confident Little Faces will continue to thrive.”
