Repairs firm shoots for growth with Gunfire deal
A building maintenance firm has expanded.
Cardo Group has bought the assets of passive fire protection business Gunfire.
Bosses say the move will strengthen Cardiff-headquartered Cardo Group’s growth across the residential, commercial and public sectors.
Liam Bevan, Cardo Group chief executive, said: “Gunfire is a highly respected name in passive fire protection, with a proven track record and deep technical expertise.
“Its capabilities expand our in-house fire safety services and support our building safety and compliance offer.”
Tom Laws, managing director at Cambridgeshire-headquartered Gunfire, added: “This is a really positive step.
“Cardo Group provides the perfect platform for our business to continue to grow, support investment in our people and expand our reach.”
The deal comes just days after Cardo Group bought Glasgow-based roofing business Faskin Group in a move officials say will bolster national growth plans.
