Watershed bolsters employment law team
Employment law consultancy Watershed, based in Manchester, has strengthened its team with the appointment of Rob Elliott as employment lawyer.
Rob joins the business with more than 20 years’ experience advising employers across sectors including government, retail, health, hospitality, logistics, professional services, digital and higher education.
His career spans consultancy, private practice and in-house roles.
Rob has previously held positions at organisations including Croner Consulting, Qdos Consulting, Bray & Bray Solicitors, Abbey HR, Firstsource and Serco.
His expertise covers complex workplace investigations, restructures, redundancies, TUPE matters, senior exits and employment tribunal claims.
Rob said: “Watershed offers something genuinely different: high-impact work, autonomy and the chance to build meaningful relationships with clients without the hierarchy or constraints found in many firms.
“The integration with Collinson Grant means the team works on complex, board-level issues from the outset.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to that model and supporting clients with practical, commercial, and outcomes-focused employment law advice.”
Watershed supports organisations with specialist employment law and people advisory services, helping employers navigate complex workplace challenges with confidence.
Victoria Young, managing director at Watershed, added: “Rob brings extensive respondent-side experience and a calm, solutions focused approach that aligns well with our work on sensitive investigations, organisational change and high-stakes advisory matters.
“His background across consultancy and inhouse environments reflects the way we operate, close to clients, pragmatic and involved in the real decision-making.
“We are pleased to welcome him as we continue to expand our team of senior employment law specialists.”
