Knights strengthens family law team in Reading
Knights has strengthened its growing family team in Reading with the arrival of Owen Reynolds as a partner, bringing three decades of experience advising clients on complex family matters.
A specialist in family law, Owen advises across divorce, financial settlements, cohabitee disputes, domestic abuse injunctions, private law children matters, and high-net-worth pre and post-nuptial agreements.
His experience spans proceedings in both the Family Court and High Court, including cases involving asset-freezing injunctions and complex financial and children disputes.
Owen began his career working on Legal Aid cases, including challenging children matters, and has since built a reputation for supporting clients through high-stakes and sensitive situations.
As a collaborative lawyer, he also helps clients resolve disputes outside of court through the Resolution Collaborative Law process.
Owen said: “It’s an absolute pleasure to join such a talented and ambitious team in Reading during such an exciting period of growth for the business both here in the Thames Valley and nationally.
“Knights has a market-leading reputation for delivering premium legal advice and I’m excited to see what we can achieve as one team in this highly collaborative and supportive working environment.”
Owen’s arrival follows a period of rapid growth for Knights in Reading.
Earlier this month, the team relocated to new offices at The Blade building and has welcomed 11 new professionals in recent months across family, private client, dispute resolution and regulatory services.
James Christacos, regional client services director at Knights, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Owen to the team.
“He is a vastly experienced family law expert, has a great reputation locally and is a brilliant addition to the team here in Reading, which is fantastic for our clients and colleagues as we strive to deliver the very best legal advice.
“Owen joins us at an exciting time for the business having recently announced a strong performance in the first half of our 2025 financial year.
“Adding Owen’s skills and knowledge to our talented team of family lawyers across the country will help us deliver on our plans for growth both locally and nationally.”
