Ramsdens opens trainee recruitment drive
A Yorkshire-based law firm is laying the groundwork for future growth by investing in the next generation of talent.
Ramsdens Solicitors has opened applications for new trainees as part of its ongoing expansion plans.
The firm operates from 11 offices across Yorkshire and employs more than 300 people.
Aspiring lawyers can choose from two entry routes.
A traditional two-year training contract is available for candidates who already hold a legal qualification, while a Graduate Legal Apprenticeship offers the chance to earn and learn simultaneously.
Both pathways are designed to give trainees hands-on experience with clients across a range of practice areas from day one.
Natalie Lang, partner and training principal at Ramsdens Solicitors, said: “At Ramsdens, we’ve a long-standing commitment to developing future legal talent across the region.
“Our trainees play a vital role within the firm and are given real responsibility right from the outset while supported by experienced colleagues who are committed to helping them succeed.
“Many of our partners, including myself, started their legal careers at Ramsdens, valuing the opportunities to develop personally and professionally.
“We are looking forward to welcoming ambitious and motivated individuals who want to build long-term legal careers with us.”
Lindsey Frith, joint chief executive at Ramsdens Solicitors, added: “The strength of our training programme is a significant asset to the firm, and will be essential as we look to continue building momentum throughout the region.
“By recruiting and mentoring applicants with the right skills and talent, we can grow our offering for our clients while building and mainlining the next generation of legal talent.”
Applications close on January 31, with assessment days taking place in March and interviews later in the spring.
Training contracts will commence on September 1.
