mfg Solicitors strengthens corporate team
Regional law firm mfg Solicitors has appointed Philip Chapman as a partner in its corporate team, supporting continued growth in the department.
Philip joins from Knights plc and will report to partner and head of department Clare Lang.
He will advise corporate and owner-managed businesses on management buy-outs, mergers and acquisitions, business disposals and reorganisations.
Based across the firm’s Birmingham and Brierley Hill offices, Philip brings specialist experience in corporate and commercial transactions.
Philip said: “You can’t fail to be attracted to mfg Solicitors.
“The firm has gradually built a formidable reputation and a strong regional presence in both Birmingham and the Black Country over several years.
“To have the opportunity to join the firm and Clare’s team was something I jumped at.
“I look forward to playing my role in the months and years ahead in what is such an exciting time in the firm’s growth.”
Philip’s appointment bolsters mfg Solicitors’ in-demand corporate offering as the firm continues to expand its advisory services across the Midlands.
Clare Lang, partner and head of the Corporate department at mfg Solicitors, added: “Philip joins us at the perfect time as we bolster our team and increase our footprint across the region.
“He is a hugely respected corporate and commercial specialist and adds significant experience to an already strong team.
“He is already making an impact with our clients and within the firm.”
