Energy management firm 'powers on' with HQ move
An energy and industrial site management firm says it is ready to power forward after completing a headquarters move.
PX Group has switched to Boaz House on Teesdale Business Park.
Bosses say the 30,000-plus sq ft base in Thornaby, near Stockton, “demonstrates its commitment and belief in Teesside’s industrial future”.
They add it will help the business build on an 11 per cent turnover increase and US expansion plans.
The company, which provides management support across the energy sector and owns industrial bases including Hull’s Saltend Chemicals Park, has signed a ten-year lease on the ex-Barclaycard hub.
Its move was supported by Newcastle, Thornaby and Penrith-based law firm Muckle LLP, whose real estate team provided lease negotiation and completion advice, and further help across documents relating to the site’s development.
Dan Weatherill, PX Group chief legal officer, said: “The team at Muckle provided us with straightforward and knowledgeable advice, often to very tight deadlines.”
Carolyn McKay, senior associate, added: “The office move strengthens PX Group’s future and reinforces the region’s industrial growth.”
