Legal firm eyes growth with 'seismic' HQ switch
A law firm says it is primed to build on strong financial results with a headquarters move.
Thorntons is switching to a new Dundee base.
Bosses say its new hub – in the city’s James Thomson House – will provide “seismic” opportunities to expand following a 14 per cent increase in annual turnover to £50.1 million.
Lesley Larg, managing partner, said: “In the past year, we have expanded into new markets, welcomed exceptional talent and delivered sustained revenue growth across our full-service offering.
“Our growth across Scotland, combined with our new headquarters in the heart of Dundee, reflects our long-term confidence in the city and in the future of our firm.
“Dundee is our home and it will remain so.”
Thorntons’ office portfolio includes further bases in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.
