Contractor in gear with council highways deal
A building contractor says it is set to drive ahead after retaining its place on a £56 million local authority programme.
Winvic Construction has been reappointed to the Lincolnshire County Council Highways Framework for another four years.
The company has secured a place on the general works lot, which carries a total value of £56 million and covers improvement, maintenance and renewal projects.
Rob Cook, Winvic managing director for civils and infrastructure, said: “Being reappointed to the framework is testament to the strength of our relationship and the consistent quality of work delivered by our teams across the region.
“Over the last four years, we’ve successfully completed a number of highways schemes and look forward to building on our regional experience to deliver highways infrastructure that benefits residents, road users and the wider economy.”
The agreement comes just weeks after the Northampton-headquartered firm founded a data centre division to “bring its core values and expertise to a rapidly expanding market”.
