Switalskis appoints marketing lead
Law firm Switalskis has appointed Elinor Gilles-Jones as head of marketing and business development.
Based at the firm’s Leeds office, Elinor brings extensive experience supporting professional services firms, having previously held business development roles at national and startup law firms.
She became a Chartered Marketer in 2023.
In her new role, she will focus on driving strategic growth across the business, supporting collaboration across Switalskis’ 11 offices and strengthening marketing and business development activity as the firm continues to expand.
Elinor said: “This position brings together everything I’ve most enjoyed in my previous roles - working in professional services, supporting charity initiatives, building a collegiate atmosphere and a strong commercial mindset.
“Switalskis is a firm of people who do the right things for the right reasons and always put clients’ needs first, and that really resonates with me.
“There are always innate challenges in a growing business, but the openness of the board to new ideas and developments makes this an incredibly rewarding role.
“I genuinely feel I’ve found the position that will allow me to grow as the firm grows.”
John Durkan, chief executive at Switalskis, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Elinor to Switalskis.
“She brings a strong marketing and business development expertise from across the legal sector.
“She also has a genuine understanding of what makes a values-led legal firm successful.
“Her experience, energy and collaborative approach are already making a positive impact across the group.”
