Thomson Snell & Passmore hires partner
Kent law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has appointed Tamsin Reader as a partner in its real estate disputes team.
Tamsin joins from Knights, where she was a partner in the property litigation team, bringing experience across a wide range of commercial and residential property disputes.
She has advised investors, developers, landlords and tenants on matters including lease renewals, rent arrears and enfranchisement, and has represented clients in court and tribunal proceedings.
Tamsin said: “The firm has an excellent reputation in the market and a dynamic team with a strong commercial mindset, which really resonates with me.
“I’m excited to be joining the real estate disputes team and look forward to helping develop the specialist work it delivers to clients.”
Tamsin’s appointment strengthens the firm’s real estate disputes offering as it continues to support a growing client base.
Mark Steggles, head of dispute resolution at Thomson Snell & Passmore, added: “It is great to welcome Tamsin to the firm.
“Over the last few years, our real estate disputes team has grown in both size and experience.
“In particular, we have built up a reputation for successfully advising on development disputes and property insolvency matters.
“Tamsin’s expertise will perfectly complement the team, adding further depth and breadth to the specialist advice we deliver for clients.”
