Davis Blank Furniss promotes equity partner

Manchester and Glossop-based law firm Davis Blank Furniss has promoted Seán Hackett to equity partner.

Seán, who joined the firm in 2023 as partner and head of property litigation, has played a key role in expanding its property disputes offering and strengthening its reputation in complex, high-value matters.

He brings more than 20 years’ experience in real estate litigation, advising developers, landlords and investors on issues ranging from landlord and tenant disputes to strategic property considerations within major transactions.

Seán’s promotion follows the retirement of long-standing partner Andrew Ryan and sees Seán join the firm’s equity partnership alongside senior colleagues, reinforcing its leadership team as it continues to grow its presence in the North West.
