Switalskis promotes three directors to board
Law firm Switalskis has promoted Georgina Peckett, Katrina Elsey and Julie Guest to director roles, strengthening its leadership team.
Georgina, part of the firm’s medical negligence team since 2016, brings more than 20 years’ experience handling complex, high-value claims.
Katrina, who joined following the acquisition of Atherton Godfrey, has 24 years’ experience in serious injury law and will focus on driving team growth.
Julie, who established the firm’s people function in 2022, steps into the role to ensure culture and leadership development are represented at board level.
The promotions support Switalskis’ continued growth as it expands its national presence from its Yorkshire base.
John Durkan, chief executive at Switalskis, said: “Our senior level promotions reflect the strength and ambition of the business we’re building.
“Georgina, Katrina and Julie have each made a significant impact in their careers and consistently demonstrate our values of fairness, empathy and care through their commitment to clients and colleagues.
“It’s important that we invest in leadership that delivers excellent legal expertise and champions our culture and supports our people.
“I’m delighted to welcome them to the board and look forward to the contribution they will make to the continued success of Switalskis.”
