Law firm boosts global goals with office move
A law firm has expanded with an office move.
Gunnercooke has switched to a 16,000sq ft base in Manchester’s Pall Mall.
Officials say the venture “aids our goal to become a top global law firm”.
They add it strengthens the operator’s ties with the North West city, with the business having been founded in Manchester more than a decade ago.
Designed to host up to 130 staff across two floors, its new office includes a client suite, collaboration areas, a TV production studio and event space.
Founder Darryl Cooke said: “With the growth we’ve seen in recent years, the time has come for us to invest in our future and move to a larger space.
“Pall Mall fits the bill, both in terms of its sustainability credentials and for the flexible and unique space it offers for our team.
“Our new office will act as a home for creativity, innovation and community.”
Jack Harrison, senior commercial manager at property provider Bruntwood SciTech, which oversees the Pall Mall development, added: “Gunnercooke’s decision to establish at Pall Mall is a powerful endorsement of Manchester and the ambition behind this transformational redevelopment.
“As a homegrown business with an international footprint, its continued investment in the city reflects the strength of the ecosystem and Manchester’s depth of talent.”
Gunnercooke’s office estate stretches to 16 sites across the UK, US and Central Europe.
