BRM strengthens real estate team

Sheffield and Chesterfield-based law firm BRM has appointed Joseph Duffy as a solicitor and promoted Mario Esposito to associate solicitor within its real estate team.

Joseph joins with experience across commercial property, having previously worked in legal and court roles before qualifying as a solicitor. 

He advises clients on transactions, leasing and portfolio refinancing.

Joseph said: “When I learned of an opening in BRM’s real estate team, I absolutely wanted to continue my development at a highly ambitious law firm under the tutelage of experienced solicitors who work across a number of different property related disciplines.

“I’m looking forward to learning from my new colleagues and getting stuck into my new role.

“I’m also excited to contribute to the firm’s success and hone my craft under the leadership and guidance of the real estate team.”

Meanwhile, Mario steps up to associate solicitor following his second promotion in four years, having joined the firm in 2022. 

His experience includes secured lending, sales, purchases and landlord and tenant matters.

Mario said: “I am thrilled by my promotion and grateful to the firm for the opportunity to continue my development during this period of growth.

“BRM has provided me with an excellent platform since qualification and being supported by such a great team has only enhanced my experience at the firm.

“I would like to thank all of my colleagues and mentors for their support and encouragement, which has given me the ability and confidence to provide the best possible service to my clients.”
