Metro Bank appoints lending director

Metro Bank has appointed Adam Burke as lead commercial lending director for the North.

Adam brings more than 23 years’ banking experience, having held senior roles at The Co-operative Bank across corporate, commercial and not-for-profit banking.

In his new role, he will lead a specialist team supporting businesses across the North of England, Wales and Scotland, focusing on lending for companies with turnovers above £2m.

His appointment supports Metro Bank’s continued growth in commercial banking, with a focus on relationship-led lending across key sectors.
