Kings Chambers barrister appointed R3 Yorkshire chair

Kings Chambers barrister Jodie Wildridge has been appointed chair of R3 Yorkshire, the regional arm of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

Specialising in insolvency and commercial litigation, Jodie previously served as vice chair and will now represent restructuring and insolvency professionals across the region at both regional and national level.

Recognised by Legal 500 as a Rising Star in company and insolvency law, her expertise includes shareholder disputes, Companies Act claims and professional negligence litigation.

She succeeds Dave Broadbent and takes on the role at a time of increasing pressure on businesses amid rising insolvency levels across the UK.

Jodie said: “It’s an honour to be taking on this role and building on the fantastic progress made by my predecessor, Dave.

“I look forward to supporting the county’s restructuring and insolvency professionals and ensuring their views and opinions are heard and represented both here in Yorkshire and from a national perspective too.”

Caroline Sumner, R3 chief executive, added: “I’m pleased to welcome Jodie as R3 Yorkshire chair.

“Jodie brings significant experience and understanding of the challenges facing businesses across the region.

“At a time of ongoing economic uncertainty, R3 members play a vital role in helping businesses and individuals to navigate financial difficulties and achieve the best outcome.”
