Switalskis appoints deputy head of new build conveyancing
Law firm Switalskis has appointed Paula Mayfield as deputy head of its specialist new build conveyancing team.
Paula brings more than 25 years’ experience in residential conveyancing across West and South Yorkshire, including establishing and leading new build conveyancing departments.
She joins the firm’s ten-strong team supporting buyers of new build homes, handling complex transactions for regional and national housebuilders.
Paula said: “I was attracted to the role as Switalskis has an excellent reputation for delivering a seamless service, which is important in new build conveyancing where timelines are tight.
“The team’s experience and its systems and processes help keep transactions on track and make the experience much smoother for clients.
“I enjoy the detail involved, from client checks to complex funding enquiries, and building rapport with developers which in turn makes the transaction process run as smoothly as possible.”
Paula’s appointment further strengthens Switalskis’ residential property offering as demand for specialist new build conveyancing expertise continues to grow.
Richard Wisnia, head of new build conveyancing at Switalskis, added: “Paula’s appointment is an exciting springboard for the next stage of growth and development of the team, building on and reflecting the shifting demand we’re seeing for high-quality new build conveyancing services.
“She has extensive experience and technical excellence in this niche area, and direct alignment with our ethos of delivering industry-leading service levels.
“Paula’s direct managerial and business development support will allow me to focus on the strategic direction of the department, strengthening existing relationships and building new ones, and ensuring that we are technologically equipped for expansion in a busy marketplace.”
